We simply got our cameras ready and asked Chris to tell the Sam Ash universe everything guitar and bass players need to know about what’s going on in the world of ESP. ESP E-II Eclipse DB Vintage Black Electric Guitar
Representing a new standard for Japanese guitars, the ESP E-II Eclipse DB features complete mahogany construction and an ebony fingerboard. The sleek single cutaway mahogany employs a set-neck construction and comes finished in a sophisticated vintage black color. This axe is powered by an EMG 60 active neck pickup and an EMG 81 active bridge pickup. The nice gold hardware and Gotoh locking tuners help to put this guitar over the top.
ESP LTD BK-600 Billy Kelliher Signature Electric Guitar
A recent edition to the ESP family, Billy Kelliher is best known as the guitarist and founding member of the acclaimed metal group Mastodon. Featuring a single cutaway design with 3-piece mahogany set thru construction, the BK-600 sports a military green burst finish. A true collaboration between artist and manufacturer, the BK-600 is powered by two of Billy’s own Lace Sensor “Dissonant Aggressor” pickups. For maximum tonal versatility, each pickup features a split-coil design so you can emulate Mastodon’s unique style.
ESP LTD MH-401B FM Baritone Electric Guitar
A perfect hybrid that matches the carved-top body of the ESP Horizon with the headstock of the M series, the LTD MH-401B FM is a baritone guitar with a 27-inch scale length. The extended scale length allows the MH-401 FM to maintain a comfortable string tension when you’re tuning the guitar for lower registers. The guitar’s mahogany body sports ESP’s signature See Thru Black Sunburst Finish. Other great features include EMG 81/85 active pickups and a ultra-fast 3pc maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
ESP LTD TE-401 Electric Guitar
The ESP LTD TE-401 Electric Guitar features ESP’s set through design with a maple neck and a mahogany body. This guitar absolutely screams, courtesy of the EMG 60 active neck pickup and EMG 81 active bridge pickup. The comfortable rosewood fingerboard houses 24 XJ frets with a 25.5” scale. The guitar’s super sleek black satin finish provides a perfect blend of elegance and attitude.
ESP LTD B-1005SE 5-String Bass
This beautiful 5-string bass from ESP’s LTD line provides an exotic five piece wenge/bubinga neck adorned with a rosewood fingerboard set to a 34”scale. In addition, the swamp ash body is also topped with even more bubinga for a warm and inviting tone. The main highlight of this instrument has to be the inclusion of Nordstrand’s big splits hum-cancelling pickups with an active 3-band (Low, Mid, High) EQ. For maximum tonal versatility, this bass also provides an active/passive mini-switch and a mid-frequency mini-switch.
ESP LTD B-206SM 5-String Bass
The first thing you’ll notice about this bass has to be the brilliant spalted maple top with classy see-thru-black accents. Inspired by the ESP artists who rely on these instruments to withstand heavy touring schedules, the B-206SM’s maple neck is adorned with a rosewood fingerboard and connected to the body via a 6 point heel joint. The ESP designed passive SB pickups feature an active 3-band EQ with additional blend and volume knobs.
